Hajnówka is called the Gateway to the Forest and is the place where every trip to the Białowieża Forest Reserve begins.
Hajnówka is a cultural, sports and recreational center. Many concerts and music festivals as well as many sports and recreational events take place here every year. When coming to Hajnówka, it is worth planning your time to see as many interesting places as possible. Many of them are hidden in the city itself, but when we have the right means of transport, it expands our possibilities.
- St.Trinity Sobór- the pearl of Hajnówka's sacred architecture - a two-level temple with interesting architecture of prof. Aleksander Grygorowicz, with a capacity of 5,000. believers, which makes it one of the largest in the country. When we cross the threshold of the church, we feel as if we are suspended between heaven and earth. Visitors are introduced to a spiritual atmosphere inside the church, which is decorated with beautiful polychromes that are illustrations from the New Testament by the Greek artist Dymitrios Andonopoulos.
- Museum of Blacksmithing and Locksmithing - a private museum based on a family forge.
- Church of St. Exaltation of the Holy Cross - a sacred building with a unique, historic 28-voice organ from the Wrocław studio of the "Schlag und Söhne" company, made at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
- Belarusian Museum and Culture Center - this is the only center presenting the cultural richness, history and traditions of Podlasie inhabited by the Belarusian national minority. The museum organizes periodic exhibitions on the work of local artists as well as artists from Belarus.
- Bison Monument - a life-size silhouette of a bison - the king of the forest - cast in bronze.
- Water Park – an ideal place to relax and spend time actively.
- Church of St. Saint Cyril and Methodius - a modern temple built in the neo-baroque style. At the front, on both sides of the main entrance, there are two 38-meter-high towers with an observation deck between them.
- Tourist Narrow Gauge Railway - a journey by train allows you to admire the surrounding nature and absorb the amazing smells and unique colors of the Białowieża Forest.
- Podlasie Monuments Miniature Park - was created to show the beauty of the historic architecture of the Podlaskie Voivodeship. In the Park you can admire the colorful wooden architecture, sacred buildings and palaces so typical of this region.
- Krynoczka - one of the most important Orthodox holy places in Podlasie. Just like centuries ago, pilgrims visiting Krynoczka wipe the diseased area with a handkerchief moistened with its water and then leave it on the fence behind the well, thus symbolically getting rid of the disease. Nearby there is a building built in 1846. wooden church dedicated to the Holy Brothers Maccabees.
